Making a difference: The Fill Neyland Fund

Pittsburgh coach Pat Narduzzi may have bitten off more than he could chew when he said that playing in Neyland “Should not be an issue.” for his Pittsburg Panthers.

Vol fan Justin (VOLatile865 on Twitter) apparently took that Narduzzi quote as not only a challenge, but as a chance to do something special. He set up a Twitter account called “FillNeylandFund” His goal? Simple, fill Neyland Stadium. Not with just anybody, but with people who maybe have never attended a game in Neyland Stadium and may not have the funds to do so.

Being in the stadium is a special feeling, and it’s awesome to know some less fortunate people will get the chance to experience that. This is a clear example that in a world that seems to be getting more cruel everyday, there are still good people out there willing to help others. It truly is great to see.

He is currently taking donations to help fellow Vol fans achieve their dream of attending a game in Neyland through an account which you can find @FillNeylandFun on Venmo.
